REGULATIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN CONFERENCE "StoneX x Redpanda" (hereinafter referred to as "Regulations").

§1 General provisions

1. These terms and conditions define the conditions of participation in the "StoneX x Redpanda" Conference to be held on September 29, 2022 at the Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology, 26 Marii Konopnickiej Street, 30-302 Kraków. The conference program is available on the conference website.

2. The co-organizers of the Conference are:
a) Redpanda Data, Inc., headquartered in San Francisco, address: 5758 Geary Blvd

#153, San Francisco CA 94121.

3. The contractors of the Conference are:

a) Antal Sp. z o.o., based in Warsaw, address: 2 Pulawska St., 02-566 Warsaw

b) Proidea Sp. z o.o., based in Krakow, address: Zakopiańska 9 Street, 30-418Kraków

4. Persons interested in participating in the Conference and Conference Participants may contact the Organizer:

a) via email at: [email protected]

b) by phone at: 605-177-303

5. Terms used in these regulations:

a) Registration form - a registration form successfully delivered to the Organizer in electronic form according to the template provided by the Organizer via the event website

b) Conference - an event organized by the Organizers, on September 29, 2022 in Krakow, at the facility of the Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology, 26 Maria Konopnicka Street, 30-302 Krakow

c) Organizer - StoneX Poland Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Cracow, address: Szlak 49, 31-155 Krakow and Redpanda, headquartered in San Francisco, address: 5758 Geary Blvd #153, San Francisco CA 94121.

d) Confirmation of participation - information sent by the Evenea portal in response to the application made by the Participant.

e) Regulations - these regulations ie a set of terms and conditions of participation in the Conference, applicable to all Perticipants.

f) Participant - an entity, that has registered under the terms of § 4 Regulations, participating in the Conference organized by the Organizer.

6. The provisions of these regulations are an integral part of the application for participation in the Conference and apply to all Participants.


§2 Conditions of participation in the Conference

1. U Participants in the Conference may be entrepreneurs, employees/representatives of IT companies, and other institutions involved in the IT industry, hereinafter referred to as "Participant or "Participants".

2. Participation in the Conference as a Participant is free of charge. The condition for participation in the Conference is:

a) Apply for participation in the Conference via the registration form available on the Conference website.

3. Registration should be done only electronically (online) on the Registration Form available on the Conference website or directly to the email address.

4. Registration requires the following data of the Participant:

a) company/employer name,

b) name, surname,

c) position,

d) contact information (e-mail address, telephone number),

e) shirt size: S, M, L, XL, XXL.

5. An entity that has correctly and timely registered using the Registration Form will receive a return message from the Organizer, which constitutes confirmation of registration for participation in the Conference. The message will be sent to the e-mail address provided in the Form and will contain in its content the number of the bank account to which the payment should be made in connection with participation in the Conference.

6. . Participation in the Conference is free of charge.

7. The participant is obliged to familiarize himself with and comply with the internal regulations in force at the place of organization of the Conference, i.e. the Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology.

8. Before sending the Registration Form, the Participant is required to read the Conference Regulations. By sending the completed Registration Form, the Participant submits to the Organizer an offer to conclude an agreement for participation in the Conference.


§3 Conference Rules

1. Participants of the Conference are obliged to behave in a manner that does not endanger the safety of other Participants, including those giving lectures, to obey the law and the Regulations, as well as to immediately obey the instructions of the security service.

2. It is forbidden to obstruct exits and escape routes, as well as other facilities necessary in case of rescue operations during the Conference.

3. It is forbidden to bring weapons, explosives, pyrotechnics, fire hazardous materials into the Conference area.

4. It is forbidden to enter and stay at the Conference of persons under the influence of alcohol, intoxicants or psychotropic substances, as well as persons in a state of intoxication.

5. It is forbidden to bring into the Conference area other dangerous objects, especially sharp, heavy, hard or other objects that may pose a danger to the life and health of Participants.

6. Conference Participants are obliged to respect the rights and personal dignity of other Participants. Participants are strictly prohibited from harassing other Participants. Harassment is defined as: offensive verbal comments regarding gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, stalking, inappropriate physical contact. In addition, during the Conference, the use of words and symbols generally considered to be prohibited, including vulgarisms or terms that may cause offense to religious or worldview feelings and indicating discrimination is prohibited.

7. It is forbidden to destroy signage and information boards, advertising media, devices and equipment located on the Conference premises. Participants are required to use the sanitary facilities only for their intended purpose.

8. The Conference may be filmed and photographed only by the Organizer. It is forbidden for the Participants to record and take photographs during the Conference without the prior consent of the Organizer.

9. The participant shall bear full financial responsibility for the damage done by him both on the premises of the Hotel where the Conference is held.


§4 Responsibilities of the Organizer

1. The Organizer reserves the right to close registration for the Conference when the limit of Participants is reached.

2. The organizers reserve the right to prevent entry to the Conference for those who have not registered through the Registration Form, in accordance with the provisions of the Regulations.

3. The organizers are not responsible for:

a) things lost, left by the Participant during the Conference or stolen during theConference and accompanying events,

b) any damage resulting from the discontinuation of the Conference in the eventthat this is due to the fault of the Participant or due to violation of laws or regulations.

4. Program of the Conference is published on Internet site of the event.


§ 5 Terms and conditions of providing services electronically

1. Technical requirements necessary to work with the ICT system:

a) Having a computer, laptop or ther device with Internet access,

b) Email,

c) Web browser: Internet Explorer, Mozilla FireFox, Edge, Opera, 

d) Allowing cookies and JavaScript available in your browser 

e) Recommended minimum screen resolution 1024 x 768 pixels or higher.

2. When using this website you should:

a) use it for its intended purpose and refrain from providing unlawful content,

b) use any content available on the site for personal use only,

c) not engage in activities that involve sending out or posting as part of the Page unsolicited commercial information (spam),

d) not to take actions that violate the welfare of third parties, generally accepted social norms, or that are detrimental to good morals,

e) not to undertake activities of a programming, hacking nature, including for the purpose or make any changes to the source code of the website.


§6 Information about specific risks associated with the use of services provided electronically by the Service Provider by the Customers

The primary risks of using the Internet include:
a) Malware are various types of applications or scripts that cause harmful or malicious actions against the network user's ICT system, such as viruses, worms, trojans,
b) Spyware,
c) Phishing for confidential information such as passwords by impersonating another person,
d) Spam - is unsolicited and unsolicited electronic messages sent simmiltaneously to multiple recipients, often containing advertising content.

4. To avoid the above-mentioned threats, you should install an antivirus program on your computer or the device through which you connect to the Internet. The program should be constantly updated. In addition, it is recommended to run a system firewall, not to open e mail attachments of unknown origin, and to perform regular scans of the entire system with an antivirus program.

§5 Final provisions

  1. The law applicable to these Regulations is Polish law.
  2. Matters not regulated by these Regulations shall be governed by the applicable

provisions of law, including in particular the provisions of the Civil Code Act of April 23, 1964 (Journal of Laws of 2022, item 1360), the Act of July 18, 2002 on the provision of services by electronic means (Journal of Laws of 2020, item 344, as amended) and other relevant provisions of commonly applicable law.

3. The regulations are available free of charge on the event's website under the tab "Rules and Regulations" in a form that makes it possible to acquire, record and reproduce e by means of the information and communication system used by the Participant. The Organizer declares that the Rules and Regulations may be delivered free of charge to the Participant at any request, to the e-mail address indicated in the Registration Form.

4. Any disputes arising between the Organizer and the Participant shall be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with the provisions of the relevant provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure.

5. The conference is of a closed nature and does not constitute a mass event within the meaning of the Law of March 20, 2009 on Security of Mass Events (Journal of Laws 2019, item 2171, 2021, item 2490).

6. In connection with the conditions of participation referred to in § 2 item. I of the Regulations, Participants are not consumers within the meaning of Article 22 of the Civil Code, as participation in the Conference is directly related to their business or professional activity. Accordingly, the generally applicable provisions of the law concerning consumers, including in particular the provisions of the Act of May 30, 2014 on Consumer Rights (Journal of Laws of 2020, item 287, of 2021, item 2105) do not apply to Participants.

7. These Regulations are effective from July 25, 2022, until the closing date of the Conference.
