Hackathon stanowi naturalną kontynuację SpaceShield Summit 2026, który zgromadził w Stalowej Woli około 500 uczestników oraz ponad 50 ekspertów z sektora space, defence i nowych technologii. Wyzwania hackathonowe powstają na podstawie tematów i problemów poruszanych podczas konferencji, dzięki czemu uczestnicy pracują nad realnymi zagadnieniami istotnymi dla rozwoju technologii kosmicznych i bezpieczeństwa.

Podczas hackathonu zespoły będą rozwijać rozwiązania w czterech kategoriach:
• Space
• Defence
• Dual-use
• Open

Rola mentora polega na wspieraniu zespołów w trakcie pracy nad projektami - konsultowaniu pomysłów, dzieleniu się doświadczeniem branżowym oraz wskazywaniu możliwych kierunków rozwoju proponowanych rozwiązań.

Jako mentor mogą Państwo zyskać m.in.:
• możliwość współpracy z utalentowanymi studentami, programistami i inżynierami,
• udział w tworzeniu innowacyjnych projektów technologicznych,
• networking z przedstawicielami sektora space, defence i nowych technologii,
• promocję eksperckiej wiedzy i działalności w środowisku innowacji,
• udział w wydarzeniu budującym ekosystem technologii kosmicznych i bezpieczeństwa w Polsce.

The Hackathon is a natural continuation of the SpaceShield Summit 2026, which brought together around 500 participants and more than 50 experts from the space, defence, and emerging technologies sectors in Stalowa Wola. 

The challenges are based on the topics and issues discussed during the conference, allowing participants to work on real-world problems relevant to the development of space technologies and security.

During the hackathon, teams will develop solutions in four categories:
• Space
• Defence
• Dual-use
• Open

The role of a mentor is to support teams throughout their project work by consulting on ideas, sharing industry experience, and identifying possible directions for the further development of the proposed solutions.

As a mentor, you may gain, among other things:
• the opportunity to collaborate with talented students, programmers, and engineers,
• participation in the creation of innovative technological projects,
• networking opportunities with representatives of the space, defence, and emerging technologies sectors,
• promotion of your expert knowledge and professional activity within the innovation ecosystem,
• participation in an event that helps build the ecosystem of space technologies and security in Poland.
