We are pleased to invite you to our annual Xmas Lecture, organized every December by the Centre for International Relations (CIR), THINKTANK Leaders Hub and our Partners.
This year's event is special for us, as it inaugurates the 30th anniversary of the Centre for International Relations. The Foundation was initiated in 1996 by ambassador Janusz Reiter.
Xmas Lecture 2025 will focus on transatlantic relations in the era of Donald Trump 2.0, and it will examine different aspects of Europe-USA cooperation today and in the future. The topic will be presented by:
- Janusz Reiter - Founder and Chairman, the Centre for International Relations's Council, Ambassador of Poland to the United States 2005-2007;
- Charles A. Kupchan - Professor of International Affairs at Georgetown University, one of the most acknowledged American experts on European affairs, Director for European Affairs at the U.S. National Security Council under President Barack Obama.
The program will include Key Note speeches by members of the Polish government as well as and the CIR yearly awards "Diplomat of the Year" ceremony. The event will end with Xmas greetings and a networking reception.
