Redefining European Growth: Strategic Outlook for Poland and Central Europe.
On behalf of the Polish Business Society (PTG) and the Freedom Institute (Instytut Wolności), and within the framework of PTG's strategic partnership with IESE Business School, we are pleased to invite you to a special strategic session taking place on Tuesday, March 10 at 18:30.
This meeting is designed for entrepreneurs, business leaders, and economic experts who are actively shaping strategy in an increasingly complex global environment. The session will offer a forward-looking conversation on Poland and Central Europe's economic trajectory in 2026, focusing on the structural forces redefining competitiveness, growth, and resilience across the region.
In particular, we will address:
- The key macroeconomic trends shaping Europe's economic landscape
- Emerging growth engines in Central and Eastern Europe
- What lies ahead for Poland in a shifting geopolitical and economic order
We are especially honored to welcome Pedro Videla, Professor of Economics at IESE Business School, as our special guest speaker. Professor Videla is widely recognized for his work in macroeconomics and economic policy, advising governments and financial institutions across Europe and Latin America.
He holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. in economics, both from the University of Chicago, and a commercial engineering degree in economics from the Universidad Católica de Chile. His areas of specialization include macroeconomics, international economies and emerging economies. As a consultant, Professor Videla has been involved in projects with institutions such as the World Bank, IMF, EU, the Inter American Development Bank, and the USAID
The session will be hosted and moderated by Bartosz Radzikowski, Chief Economist of PTG.
We believe this discussion will go beyond macro commentary and provide strategic insights relevant for investment decisions, capital allocation, and long-term business positioning in Europe.
