Tech of Tomorrow | 2nd edition | Gateway to CEE Tech
Welcome to the second edition of the Technology of Tomorrow conference. This year the conference focuses on unleashing the innovation potential that lies in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. Over the years, the region has established itself as a highly desirable landscape for tech investors, mainly in terms of providing top technical talent and cost effective operations. However, the ambition of Polish, as well as broader Central and Eastern European tech businesses goes further. We believe that the CEE region has the potential to become the go-to ecosystem of ideation, investment, development, tech talent and regulatory support. The mission of the Tech of Tomorrow Conference is to unite tech innovators around the goal of turning CEE into a tech landscape that is worth investing in.
During the conference we would like to create space for a variety of stakeholders to discuss how to turn Poland and CEE into a hub of innovation, research and development. We invite Polish and international startups, enterprises, investors, public sector institutions, regulators and legal entities, research hubs and innovation centers to join us in a constructive dialogue. In addition, we would like to showcase some of the case studies and examples of cutting-edge projects established in the CEE region, particularly around the technology stack that is of interest to the Technology of Tomorrow initiative, namely blockchain, AI, and the Internet of Things and how these technologies contribute to building a new type of a digital economy - the economy of things.
Imagine a world where connected devices interoperate in real time with each other, autonomously trade and transact, and generate economic value. This is the essence of the Economy of Things. During the two days and across two stages we will explore both the business and technology aspects of economies of things - business models, collaboration opportunities, value proposition and value drivers, as well as technologies and technological enablers that power economies of things:
- IoT
- edge devices
- AI and analytics
- Blockchain
- Wallets
- digital identities
- new payment rails
- security
- standards
- regulations etc.
We welcome businesses - enterprises, sme's, startups VC's, investors and other organizations to showcase concepts and use cases that focus on topics related to the economy of things and to discuss how to boost the implementation of such use cases in Poland and CEE.
Additionally, during the conference, we will host the grand finale of the "Innovators of Tomorrow" project, where high school students - the next generation of entrepreneurs will present their innovative business ideas.
