Torry Berntsen - CEO Europe and Americas, Standard Chartered
Torry Berntsen was appointed Regional CEO, Europe and Americas and CEO Europe and UK in January 2021. He was previously CEO and Head of Corporate and Institutional Banking for the Americas, Standard Chartered and was responsible for developing and delivering the Bank's strategy in the Americas and led on all aspects of regulatory, governance and financial performance.
Torry has over 35 years of banking and financial services experience. Prior to Standard Chartered, he was the President and a Director of Independent Bank Group (IBG), where he was involved in all aspects of the Company's operations, including spearheading its investor relations efforts as well as managing all of its financial institutions relationships and partnerships. He spent 25 years in various senior management roles at The Bank of New York Mellon (BNY Mellon). His last position in BNY Mellon was Senior Executive Vice President, Sector Head, Global Client Management. In his role as CEO Europe and Americas he is responsible for the Corporate & Institutional Banking, Private and Retail Banking businesses in the US, Latin America, UK, Jersey, Falklands, Germany, France, Nordics, Ireland and Turkey.


Anna Urba艅ska - CEO Standard Chartered GBS Poland

Anna leads the strategic development and operations of Standard Chartered's Global Business Services centre in Poland. She has a career spanning over 20 years in financial services, investment funds and consulting. Anna Urbanska joined Standard Chartered in October 2018 to build Conduct & Financial Crime Compliance team in Poland, which she leads in addition to the CEO role.
Prior to joining Standard Chartered she led the Financial Crime Compliance unit at PWC, served as deputy-chairperson and COO at a US private equity owned fintech company and built and an RBS' (now Nat West) hub in Warsaw. Her track record includes also various managerial roles at Cetelem, HSBC and GMAC. She holds a master's degree from the Faculty of Law at Warsaw University and diplomas of post-graduate studies in management and economics from the Warsaw School of Economics.


Adrian Migo艅 - CEO Technology Incubator Foundation and Youth Business Poland

founder and president of the Youth Business Poland Foundation. He can be called the "father" of many significant business projects that have already benefited over 5,000 aspiring entrepreneurs. He is a social entrepreneur and an expert in innovation, entrepreneurship and mentoring. Since 2008, he has been involved in the development of entrepreneurship in Poland through the activities of the Technology Incubator Foundation (FIT) and the Youth Business Poland (YBP) Mentoring Program.



Walid Barsali - Co-Founder - CEO BallSquad.pl

Is French-Algerian, former professional basketball player (in France). He holds a BA in Finance and an MBA in Marketing communication. He has extensive business experience as he spent the last decade in the CEE region holding different management positions in finance, business intelligence, and commercial development before launching BallSquad in May 2018. Having identified the lack of digitisation of Public sports facilities in the CEE market, he drew on his extensive business experience and expertise to design, with the founding team, a comprehensive solution to fill this gap and make cities more connected.
