Nowa Huta -an ideal communist city build next to Kraków in the middle of cold war is not only very unique and interesting because of its architecture overground. This time we will also literally go deeper and underground, we will visit bunkers below steel work factory.
Those bunkers from 1950ties are ideally preserved there was also also located command center in case of any type of emergency. Perfect place to film James Bond movie or Kubrick's dr Strangelove.
We will meet at Kombinat tram stop next to administration buildings of steelwork. After visit in the bunker we will take a tram to the central square of Nowa Huta (4 PLN ticket is enough).
Arround the middle of the tour we will make a break for drink and snacks.
Visiting the ideal city its architecture and and sharing history will be finish by going inside spectacular church of Lord's Arc, which is known as the most beautiful modern church in Poland.
