From 12 to 15 June 2018, representatives from the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN) will meet in Kraków and Katowice (Krakowice) for the XII UCCN Annual Meeting. More than 350 delegates from 160 cities from 5 regions of the world will come together for deliberations, plenary sessions, workshops and networking events!

What distinguishes this year's host of the Annual Meeting is the strong collaboration between Krakow UNESCO City of Literature and Katowice UNESCO City of Music around the organization of this prestigious event. The main theme for #krakowice2018 is "Creative Crossroads", which aims to highlight the innovation that takes place when people, institutions, cities, nations join forces to co-create and solve problems in a creative way.

Delegates from seven creative fields and subnetworks (film, music, literature, media arts, design, gastronomy, crafts and folk art) will take part in plenary sessions, best practice exchanges, subnetwork sessions, creative workshops and study visits.

Due to the closed nature of the Annual, the public is invited to actively participate in the accompanying events. Including the Miłosz Festival, Days of Bread Festival, ElektroKilar concert, Gardens of Sounds / Festival of World Music, and Krakowice2018: Creative Cities and Industries Conference and events aimed at exchanging experience with experts from the creative cities. These events will take place from 7 to 17 of June.
