HackYeah is the biggest stationary hackathon in Europe - gathering over 2500 people from all branches. This years edition will take place on 14-15 September in the Ptak Warsaw Expo!

All the money from the attendees' tickets goes to Szkoła 3.0 and Hearty Foundation - charities training children in programming!

 

WHAT IS HACKYEAH ALL ABOUT?

First of all, it's a hackathon - an event gathering creative individuals that hack the reality and fix global issues using any tools they possess.

Hack Yeah lasts for 24 hours and within this time you have to find the solution needed to win!

WHO CAN JOIN HACKYEAH?

Literally anyone! You can be a programmer, front-end developer, UXer, game programmer, Sec wizard, graphic designer, webmaster, an engineer, a product manager or an extremely creative individual!

Each attendee can work as a lone wolf or in a team - up to 6 people!

Aaaand, you can be a part of more than one team!

 

THERE ARE SEVERAL TASKS TO CHOOSE FROM:

- three main categories: Environment, Communication and Security, being an answer to current world issues, chosen after detailed consultations with various NGOs from Poland. These categories are open so you can operate in any direction you come up with!

- partners tasks - these are the tasks prepared by the entities supporting us in creating this hackathon. They are more particular, focused on a specific solution.

As this task you might be challenged to create an app, an idea on how to improve the cybersecurity of the customers, hack a power generator or come up with the solution to the issues with the polish healthcare system. These are just a few examples of what might be your challenge during HackYeah.

The tasks will be gradually published on our website and social media!

Each task is associated with an awesome prize! And you and your team can take part in as many tasks as you want.

 

WORRY YOU'RE GONNA BE HUNGRY OR TIRED?

Don't! We provide food during the hackathon - regular meals for both: veggie lovers and meat eaters! And separated sleeping zone for anyone who might need to rest a bit.
